BROWNTOWN SESSIONS ON INSTAGRAM
These songs were made with reckless abandon and unhinged creativity.
It's me, Justin C.M. Brown, and this page explains a little bit about this music.
WHY BROWNTOWN SESSIONS 123?
It's called Browntown Sessions because this is a compilation of songs
which were written and recorded in 3 different two-week sessions.
Session 1 finished 6.26.2018, Session 2 finished 3.13.2019, and Session 3 finished 5.19.2019.
This music isn't created by a band with established members
or an ideal sound or any preconception at all.
It was intended to be spontaneous, to do whatever came first to mind.
These songs were created in bursts, with friends coming and going,
writing parts as they were being recorded, often until 7 or 8 in the morning.
I would stay working on the files until it was time to go to the airport.
In 2024, I decided to put the first three sessions all together,
and remastered them at 432 hz.
I'm really proud of how these songs came out,
and I'm eternally grateful to all the wonderful people
who contributed their talents and ideas throughout.
Major thanks to Jimmy for providing the technology needed
and for his consistent presence and contributions to the music.
Another major thanks to Hollis and Michael Brown for the use
of their wonderful space and their musical contributions as well.
